About the role

Lead and scale the Credit Risk & Analytics function driving AI/ML-based underwriting, real-time portfolio monitoring, collections strategy, and risk-adjusted performance across Deel’s portfolio. You’ll build predictive, real-time analytics systems, operationalize models with Product & Engineering teams, and embed governance and compliance into every step. Your work will shape underwriting strategy, support sustainable growth, and serve overlooked segments.

Responsibilities:

Build and maintain a credit risk analytics capability to provide timely, actionable insights for portfolio optimisation, loss forecasting, and provision adequacy.
Lead iterative development of underwriting and pricing models - from evaluating AI/ML algorithms, sourcing alternative data to production deployment and continuous optimization with cross-functional partners.
Identify and integrate non-traditional data sources (e.g., transactional, behavioural) to boost predictive accuracy and credit access for underserved markets.
Architect real time monitoring frameworks and automated alerting systems for portfolio health, KRIs, concentration exposure, and collections performance.
