Browsers are unique in that they are one of the only pieces of software that you share with your parents as well as your kids. Which makes sense, they're our doorway to the most important things — through them we socialize with loved ones, work on our passion projects, and explore our curiosities. But on their own, they don’t actually do a whole lot, they’re kind of just there. They don’t help us organize our messy lives or make it easier to compose our ideas. We believe that the browser could do so much more — it can empower and support the amazing things we do on the internet. That’s why we’re building one: a browser that can help us grow, create, and stay curious.

To accomplish this lofty task, we’re building a diverse team of people from different backgrounds and experiences. This isn’t optional, it’s crucial to our mission, as we need a wide range of perspectives to challenge our assumptions and shape our browser through a bold, creative lens. As a Product Engineer at The Browser Company, you’ll play a key role in shaping novel AI features in Dia that redefine how users engage with the browser's core primitives - tabs, history, navigation, and more - so browsing feels effortless and work feels easier. You'll transform ambiguous goals into elegant solutions and set new standards for browser-based AI. We’re looking for someone who is product-minded, deeply curious, grounded in user experience, and excited to define new ways of building AI products — ways that feel polished, intuitive, and delightful.

We go from new ideas to prototypes in hand in days, and we ship new features and improvements to Dia weekly, so the impact of your work shows up fast. We listen, iterate, and keep shaping Dia to solve real problems in ways that feel simple and delightful.

Lead, architect, and execute LLM-powered features to redefine core Browser primitives
Collaborate closely with Design, Product, Data, and our Leadership teams to brainstorm, prototype, and launch new features
Champion a product-minded approach, ensuring every technical decision is grounded in user impact and business value.
Sweat the small stuff to deliver high-craft, industry-leading, interaction-rich user experiences which set the bar for what's possible.
Get familiar with Chromium, Swift and our development environment across Mac, Windows, iOS, and Android.

Qualifications

6+ years of experience developing high-craft soft
