Responsibilities

Oversee timely processing of tax deposits and resolve quarter-end variances.
Identify and implement improvements in tax operations, including corrections and amendments.
First line of contact for federal, state, and local tax notices.
Investigate and resolve tax discrepancies.
Maintain communication with tax authorities and minimize errors impacting tax notices.
Communicate and collaborate with clients on their tax matters and necessary resolutions.
Proactively address payroll tax inquiries and issues with employees and external partners.
Ensure accurate and timely submission of tax filings and payments for assigned clients, adhering to deadlines and regulatory requirements.
Collaborate with internal teams and escalate issues as necessary.
Perform any additional tasks as requested by your manager to support the overall success of the Tax Ops team.
