Design is at the heart of that experience. We’re hiring a Founding Product Designer to help shape the future of our platform, our design systems, and our culture. This is a staff-level role that blends strategic vision, hands-on execution, and deep cross-functional influence. You’ll lead high-impact initiatives, partner closely with product and engineering, and help define what “great” looks like at Mixmax.

In Your First 3 Months
- Design and ship high-impact product features that elevate UX, usability, and visual consistency
- Take full ownership of your product area, leading discovery, prototyping, and delivery
- Contribute to our design system, scaling it to support speed and consistency
- Build strong relationships with PM, engineering, and marketing counterparts
- Develop deep understanding of Mixmax’s users, product, and competitive landscape
In Your First 6 Months
- Deliver measurable impact through thoughtful, user-centered solutions
- Define the design vision for your product area and shape its product strategy
- Elevate visual and interaction design quality across the product
- Mentor teammates and advocate for design excellence across the org
- Help shape scalable design processes and foster a culture of creativity and rigor
💼 What You’ll Be Doing
- Own end-to-end design work from research and ideation through high-fidelity execution
- Partner with product and engineering to build elegant, user-first solutions
- Define and evolve our design system to balance consistency and flexibility
- Bring clarity to ambiguous problems through structured thinking and first-principles design
- Explore how AI can create value for users through smarter, more intuitive workflows
- Uplevel our design practices and raise the bar for visual craft and usability
- Influence product strategy and roadmap as a senior design voice
- Lead with empathy, mentor others, and help build a high-performing, inclusive design culture
🧠 What We’re Looking For
- 3+ years of product design experience, with deep B2B SaaS exposure
- A portfolio showing complex, high-impact features with real-world adoption and measurable outcomes
- Strong visual and interaction design skills with meticulous attention to detail
- Experience owning and evolving scalable design systems
- Strategic mindset with the ability to zoom out and think holistically across workflows
- Proficiency in prototyping user flows at both low and high fidelity
- Strong user research capabilities and a track record of iterating based on feedback
- Excellent communication and storytelling skills across cross-functional teams
- Founder-like ownership, proactive collaboration, and bias for action
- Comfort influencing without authority and driving alignment with stakeholders
