Livestorm
Livestorm is an end-to-end video engagement platform where marketing teams run webinars, live events, and product demos from the browser. Founded in 2016 and designed in Europe, it keeps customer data on EU servers and holds ISO 27001 certification.
Livestorm's Remote Policy
From its careers page: "As a remote-first company, we value autonomy and are seeking team members who thrive in a remote work environment and culture." The same page lists "Work-from-Anywhere policies for ultimate flexibility" among its perks. A 2023 post on the company's culture blog sets out the conditions for Stormies who want to work temporarily from abroad: a safe place to work, no more than six months a year abroad, a maximum three hour time difference from Paris, working to French hours when there is an offset, compliance with French tax and social security requirements, a valid work visa and insurance, and a good internet connection.

Why Livestorm
Livestorm's own customer page features PayFit, Brevo, and Spendesk among the companies that run online events on the platform. In 2026 it acquired Qlip, an AI video clipping company, and CEO Gilles Bertaux was direct about why: "We didn't acquire Qlip for the customers or the revenue. We acquired them for the team, the technology, and the thesis." Qlip's CTO became Livestorm's Head of AI, and the first product of the deal is Livestorm AI Studio, an add-on that turns webinar replays into short, ready-to-publish clips.
The team has been fully remote since day one, and its culture blog shows how that is held together. New hires are paired with a "Livestorm Buddy" and close onboarding with an interview called "Review of your first month." The 2025 offsite was planned by an employee committee and kept in France "to reduce our carbon footprint." A 2021 post describes working hours that were "flexible, but set," including a 1.5 hour lunch that everyone followed, the CEO included, with "no guilt for not overworking yourself." On the engineering side, a 2022 post lays out an individual-contributor path from Senior to Staff and Principal engineer as an alternative to management, with architecture changes going through a written RFC process. The company's five values are to stay curious, remain humble, be resourceful, own it, and be transparent.
