Its integrated fraud prevention and AML compliance suite unifies data across risk teams, combining device fingerprinting, behavior biometrics and transaction monitoring to detect fraud in real time. Companies including FIS, GoDaddy, Deel, Checkout and Brex rely on Sardine to secure trust in their products.

Sardine's Remote Policy

From Sardine's job postings: "We're a remote-first team spread across time zones, so no office to report to - work from wherever helps you do your best work."

The same postings add that "pay is based on where you're located, and you'll need to keep a home base in the country you're hired in ... think flexible within your country, not borderless." See Sardine's job board

Why Sardine

Founded in 2020, Sardine puts its mission plainly: "We're on a mission to stop financial crime." The platform also covers KYC and KYB checks and instant ACH, with machine learning at its core. The leadership team includes CEO Soups Ranjan, co-founder Aditya Goel and CTO Kazuki Nishiura.

Remote work shows up throughout Sardine's own writing. A 2023 company blog post called it "a remote-only company," and the same year it ran a two-day, fully remote hackathon. The company describes life there as "fast-paced, collaborative, and grounded in respect for deep work," and adds: "We care about outcomes, not optics." It pairs that speed with a guardrail: "We move quickly, but we don't cut corners." One payments operations manager on the careers page points to "high trust and autonomy" and the freedom to experiment and see the direct impact of the work.
