Data Engineering owns Veriff's analytical data platforms: a Data Warehouse (AWS Redshift, dbt, Airflow, Cube) and a Data Lake (S3, Glue, Athena) running across EU and US regions. We serve analysts, data scientists, ML, and product teams. We are a small, senior team based mostly in Tallinn. Because Veriff handles identity data, our job is to make data easy to use while keeping it secure, compliant, and cost-efficient.
We are moving towards a governed lakehouse that teams can use self-service. You will join our Data Engineering team and work closely with senior engineers. Your initial focus will be governance across both platforms: access control, handling of personal data, data lifecycle and deletion, and platform cost. You will own projects end-to-end, with support and mentoring from the team.

Engineering roles tend to be remote across the Tallinn or Spain pools, while sales roles are split between USA Remote and EMEA postings covering London, Spain, and Estonia. Remotivated classifies Veriff as Flexible Hyrbrid rather than Remote since office attendance is culturally expected.
Yes. For selected candidates moving to Estonia or Spain, Veriff helps with visa and living permits and offers a relocation bonus. The team is multicultural and the application process is open to people applying from another country.
