Demand is growing ahead of plan, the product roadmap is ambitious, and the company is investing seriously in the marketing capability that will turn transactional usage into lasting relationships. You will own strategy and execution across PMM and Experience Marketing, manage a team of experienced marketers, and work closely with Product, Commercial, and Growth leadership to keep these functions tied to the outcomes that drive the business forward.
Actual offered salaries will vary and will be based on various factors, such as calibrated job level, qualifications, skills, competencies, and proficiency for the role.

Thumbtack is virtual-first, not virtual-only. Employees work remotely day-to-day from across 39 U.S. states, Ontario, British Columbia, and the Philippines, and come together in person at offsites and events throughout the year. CEO Marco Zappacosta has said the company is not planning a return to the office and that virtual-first is here to stay.
Thumbtack hires for virtual roles in the United States (39 states), anywhere in Ontario or British Columbia, and anywhere in the Philippines. Its international work policy also lets employees work from other countries for up to 60 days per country each calendar year, with a maximum of 15 consecutive days outside the Americas.
Thumbtack keeps core synchronous hours from 9 a.m. to 3 p.m. PT, with flexibility outside that window, and protects focus time with company-wide No Meeting Wednesdays. Day-to-day collaboration runs through Slack and Google Workspace.
Highlights include flexible PTO plus 18 company-wide holidays and a week-long end-of-year shutdown; 12 weeks of paid parental leave for all parents, with birthing parents receiving 8 additional weeks; generous fertility and family-formation benefits; a $1,000/year remote work support stipend paid semi-annually; and mental health support through Modern Health, Therify, and BetterUp coaching. Specific benefits vary by location.
Thumbtack uses a geo-based, three-tier pay system and publishes salary ranges directly in its job postings, so you can see the range for a role before you apply. Total compensation also includes equity (RSUs) and a 401(k).
Thumbtack suits people who thrive in a virtual-first environment and want mission-driven work in home services — building a marketplace that connects millions of homeowners with vetted local professionals. 94% of employees rate it a great place to work, and its culture is guided by five values: Lead with why, Make it count, Own it, Choose teamwork, and Say what you mean.
