Position Overview
HighLevel is looking for a Chartered Accountant to oversee our Indian subsidiary’s accounting department. The position will be responsible for developing and maintaining accounting practices and procedures to ensure accurate and timely financial statements. We are looking for a self-starter who enjoys working in a challenging and fast–paced environment to support the company’s continued growth.
What You Will Do:
Manage and oversee core finance operations including Accounts Receivable, Accounts Payable, Treasury, and Fixed Assets, working closely with the in-house accounting team to ensure accuracy and efficiency.
Ensure timely period-end closure of books (monthly, quarterly, and annual) and review MIS and financial reports for submission to the parent company.
Review and monitor the internal financial controls framework, ensuring effective implementation and ongoing compliance.
Ensure compliance with applicable provisions of the Companies Act, 2013 relevant to private limited companies.
Review and oversee direct and indirect tax compliances, including filings, computations, assessments, and audits, and coordinate with external advisors as required.
Ensure compliance with FEMA regulations, including reporting and documentation requirements.
Manage quarterly and year-end financial close under Indian GAAP (IGAAP) and act as the single point of contact for statutory audits conducted by a Big 4 audit firm.
Prepare and share financial reporting packs and reconciliations to support the book closure and consolidation requirements of the Holding Company.
Drive process improvements by streamlining internal finance workflows, controls, and reporting mechanisms.
Support special projects, ad-hoc financial analysis, and management reporting as required.
What You Bring:
Chartered Accountant with 5+ years of experience
Strong GAAP accounting knowledge
Experience of managing an accounting team
GST and Income tax compliance experience
Must have experience with Netsuite
Experience with managing audits
Self-starter who is proactive, takes initiative and follows through on tasks in a timely manner
Ability to adapt quickly to changing priorities
Excellent interpersonal skills and great team player attitude
Ability to identify process deficiencies and create process improvements
Excellent problem-solving skills and be able to identify new and inventive solutions
Excellent organization and time management skills
