Bugcrowd's platform pairs its in-house triage team with security researchers worldwide to run managed bug bounty and pen testing programs. The company has invested in AI through a dedicated Chief AI and Science Officer (Dr. David Brumley) and is building reinforcement learning infrastructure applied to cybersecurity, a signal of where the product is headed.

The team is remote-first with offices in San Francisco and Bedford, NH. Most roles are distributed across the US, UK, India, Brazil, and Costa Rica. Bugcrowd uses a transparent leveling system with parallel tracks for individual contributors and people managers, and targets the 75th percentile of market pay for specialized roles. The company runs six employee community groups (called BERGs), including Neurodivergent Voices and HackHER Network, and offers a Mentor Match program pairing employees for career development. A recurring "Brews & Qs" event brings distributed teams together to celebrate milestones.
