Equip Health
Equip treats eating disorders at home, pairing each patient and family with a five-person virtual care team: therapist, physician, dietitian, peer mentor, and family mentor. The company has operated this way since 2019 and is partnered with most major health insurance plans across all 50 states.
Equip Health's Remote Policy
Equip states its position directly on its careers page: "Founded in 2019, Equip has been a fully virtual company since its inception and is proud of the highly-engaged, passionate, and diverse Equipsters that have created Equip's culture."
Its own job postings on Equip's careers board put the working standard in one line: "100% Remote: Work is performed completely from home with no requirement to travel."

Why Equip Health
The most telling number Equip publishes about itself is not a headcount. On its careers page, the company reports that 58% of Equipsters have lived experience with an eating disorder, alongside 42% who identify as LGBTQIA+ and 33% who identify as BIPOC. That is a workforce built partly out of the patient population it serves, and it runs through the three values Equip names publicly: start with curiosity, trust your village, and own the impact. Diversity, equity, inclusion and belonging work is organized through an internal council the company calls Equip For All, or EFA.
Day to day, the rhythm is set by clinical care rather than by an office calendar. Roles are described as remote, full-time and salaried with flexible hours, and the standing commitments are weekly multidisciplinary treatment team meetings, clinical case reviews, department meetings and medical department huddles. Clinical postings budget roughly 10% to 15% of the week for inter-session messaging, EMR documentation and asynchronous coordination, which makes written handoff an explicit part of the job rather than something squeezed in around appointments. Expect real-time collaboration with your care team, and expect the writing that holds it together to be scheduled, not improvised.
