Every currently open role is remote and based in the United States. Many clinical listings carry a state in the title, such as Fully Licensed Therapist - Remote (Oregon). That reflects the licensure jurisdiction the role covers, not an office or a commute. Some clinical roles add their own requirements: certain postings state a preference for candidates in the Eastern time zone, and physician roles on the IMLC pathway require the candidate to reside in an IMLC member state.
Equip lists medical, dental, vision, life and AD&D insurance, and says it pays a significant percentage of benefits premiums for individuals and families. Also listed: a 401(k) program, disability insurance, generous parental leave, a flex PTO policy with 3 to 5 weeks a year recommended plus 11 paid company holidays, a $50 per month internet stipend added directly to your paycheck, a home office stipend of up to $500 to start with a $200 reload at the three-year mark and every other year after, a company laptop, and employee recognition programs. Corporate employees also get a $250 per month stipend to use a co-working space.
Equip covers Spring Health at 100% employer cost, which provides 5 free therapy sessions and 5 free coaching sessions per year for the employee and for each dependent. There is also a company-paid Employee Assistance Program covering mental health, legal services and financial support, and HealthJoy, a fully employer-paid healthcare concierge platform for navigating coverage.
Clinicians get student loan repayment of $500 per quarter under one year of tenure and $1,000 per quarter after one year, a continuing education stipend of up to $1,000 per year, and unlimited online NetCE courses for therapists and medical providers. Equip provides training and supervision in Family Based Treatment, CBT-E and CBT-AR. It also reimburses licensure costs, including exam fees, state board applications and study materials for Equip-required licenses and cross-licensure.
Equip publishes an AI and recruitment transparency policy. It uses AI tools to assist with screening and interview notes, with the stated goal of reducing bias, but says every hiring decision is made by a human. Candidates are prohibited from using AI to generate answers during live interviews. Equip also warns that recruitment scams exist in its name: official recruiter email comes from a verified equip.health address, and Equip will never request banking information, credit card details or any payment during the application or hiring process.
Not every posting shows one. Of the postings reviewed, a Staff Psychiatrist listing published an earning potential range of $250,000 to $300,000 annually plus 15% performance bonus potential, while another did not carry a range at all. Check the individual posting on Equip's careers board, and treat compensation as a question to raise early with the recruiter if the range is not shown.
