AI-Native Growth Marketing Strategist

Our client is a growing marketing agency supporting an innovation-focused business incubator with newly launched mobile apps in the community and gaming space. The agency is looking for an AI-native growth marketer who can help make marketing strategy, research, reporting, and internal workflows more efficient and scalable.

Role Overview

The AI-Native Growth Marketing Strategist will work closely with the agency lead to support launch planning, growth experimentation, performance insights, and AI-enabled marketing workflows.

The role will help evaluate the market viability of two newly launched mobile apps, organize learnings from acquisition efforts, and identify practical ways to use AI across the agency’s client work.

Location

Fully Remote | 9:00 AM - 5:00 PM PST | 30 hours per week.

Key Responsibilities

Growth Strategy & Market Testing

• Support the agency lead with growth planning and launch testing for two newly launched mobile apps.
• Help define target audiences, acquisition hypotheses, channel opportunities, and early testing priorities.
• Analyze paid acquisition and launch-test results to help assess market viability and determine next steps.
• Partner with the Paid Media Buyer on channel strategy, campaign learnings, and future testing.
• Support testing across Apple Search Ads and other relevant app-acquisition channels.

• Document acquisition, audience, creative, and growth learnings so they can be applied to future app launches within the incubator.

AI-Enabled Marketing Workflows

• Identify practical AI tools and workflows that improve marketing planning, research, reporting, creative ideation, and campaign analysis.
• Introduce usable AI-enabled processes that improve efficiency without adding unnecessary tools.
• Use AI to support audience research, competitor analysis, messaging exploration, content ideation, reporting summaries, and campaign insights.

• Build lightweight, repeatable AI-enabled workflows that help the agency lead work more efficiently across client accounts.

Performance Reporting & Dashboards

• Create and maintain clear marketing and performance dashboards across client accounts.
• Organize key metrics, campaign results, testing outcomes, and growth insights into actionable reporting.
• Recommend practical reporting tools and processes based on agency needs.

• Analyze reporting to identify patterns, opportunities, and risks rather than simply presenting raw data.

Cross-Functional Collaboration

• Work directly with the agency lead as a growth and AI thought partner.
• Coordinate with the Paid Media Buyer, designer, and other client-side stakeholders as needed.
• Keep workstreams organized and proactively communicate progress, insights, and blockers.

• Participate in occasional client calls when strategic or performance context is needed.

Qualifications

Experience

• 3+ years of experience in growth marketing, performance marketing, go-to-market support, or a related marketing strategy role.
• Demonstrated experience incorporating AI tools into real marketing workflows beyond basic prompting.
• Experience creating marketing dashboards, performance reports, or campaign-analysis workflows.

• Experience supporting digital product launches, mobile apps, consumer brands, or paid acquisition is strongly preferred.

Skills

• Strong understanding of paid acquisition, experimentation, audience research, and growth metrics.
• Ability to translate performance data and research into clear recommendations.
• Experience working with marketing, analytics, and reporting tools such as GA4, Looker Studio, advertising platforms, spreadsheets, and AI research tools.
• Ability to use AI practically across audience research, competitor analysis, messaging exploration, content ideation, reporting, and campaign analysis.
• Ability to identify and develop lightweight, repeatable workflows that improve marketing efficiency and decision-making.
• Strong organization and ability to work effectively through ambiguity.

• Ability to contribute as a strategic thought partner while supporting, rather than owning, the broader client strategy.
