At Linear, we're building the product development system for teams and agents. AI is fundamentally changing how software gets built, and we’re shaping the tools this new era requires.
Founded in 2019, Linear has become the platform of choice for more than 40,000 companies (including OpenAI, Coinbase, and Ramp) to plan, build, and ship their products. Today, our team is distributed across North America, Europe, and Australia, and we’re continuing to grow internationally. What unites us is relentless focus, fast execution, and a deep care for software craftsmanship.
We’re looking for a Customer Success Manager to help manage relationships with Linear’s top customers. You will champion our customers’ needs and ensure they realize the full value of Linear across their organization. Your role will involve onboarding new customers, delivering ongoing support + enablement, and fostering strong relationships to drive customer satisfaction and retention.

Linear's about page says the team is distributed across North America and Europe and is continuing to grow internationally. Eligible locations are set role by role: some roles are open in one region and some in both, and each posting says whether you can work from anywhere in the region or from most timezones within it. Check the location on each posting before you apply.
For most roles, no. Linear's job postings describe it as a remote-first company with optional co-working offices and list "Remote-first with no required commute" among what it offers, along with a paid co-working space or desk. A small number of roles are hybrid, and those postings say so and state how many days a week are spent in an office.
Applications go through Linear's careers page, and the Talent team reviews every one. Expect three to four interview conversations, then a final stage that is a paid work trial for every role: a 2 to 5 day project, with the daily rate shared in advance. The whole process usually takes four to six weeks to reach an offer. All official hiring messages come from an @linear.app email address, and Linear never asks candidates for payment or financial information.
On the first recruiter call. Linear says it discusses compensation then "so neither side is surprised later." Offers include salary and equity, with employee-friendly equity terms: early exercise in the US, a 10-year exercise window and refreshers over time. The company has also run tender offers that let current and former teammates sell some of their vested equity.
Postings list 5 weeks of paid vacation plus local statutory holidays, 4 months of paid parental leave, and a daily meal and coffee stipend on every workday. Through a program called Linear Infinity, employees get a fully paid month off after four years and another month every two years after that. Health coverage follows each country's requirements.
Linear describes itself as "a remote team, distributed across time zones with relatively little process overhead," and its job postings look for someone who "thrives in a remote, async-first environment with a lean, high-output team."
