DTC E-Commerce Marketing Manager
Important: This role is open to candidates based in LATAM, Africa, and Eastern Europe. Please note that as this role supports U.S.-based clients, candidates must be available to work during U.S. business hours aligned with the client’s time zone.
Our client is an established, fourth-generation family jewelry business specializing in matching bridal ring sets. The company is profitable, growing, and uses internally built systems powered by Claude and Lovable.
Its customers make high-value, emotional purchases, and its marketing approach is built around trust and nurture rather than impulse volume.
The DTC E-commerce Marketing Manager will take over the day-to-day marketing function currently managed by the CEO, owning everything that creates an order.
The role covers paid ads, email and SMS, organic social, promotions, site conversion, and follow-up on inbound leads. Everything after the order is managed by a separate operations lead.
The DTC E-commerce Marketing Manager will lead a small team of specialists across outbound sales, email and SMS, organic social, and design. The team handles execution, while this role sets priorities, writes briefs, maintains standards, and brings the different functions together into one funnel.
This person will personally own strategy, the promotional calendar, weekly performance reporting, conversion experiments, and creative direction from day one.
Own creative direction.
Manage the inbound lead pipeline without personally making sales calls.
Follow written, metric-based criteria and timelines for paid media budget authority.
Direct and critique email work rather than personally writing every email.
Work with the existing development function rather than building internal tools or the website.
Jewelry knowledge is not required.
Ability to make a case and then commit once a decision has been made.
New experiments and temporary execution gaps are handled directly before being handed off to the team or automated with AI.
This role offers the opportunity to own the demand side of a growing business while working directly with the CEO. The DTC E-commerce Marketing Manager will take ownership of the marketing functions responsible for creating orders, lead a small team of specialists, and work within an AI-forward environment.
