Instacart's Ads organization is one of the most strategically important and fastest-growing parts of the business, and Carrot Ads sits at the center of that growth. Our Carrot Ads offering enables retailers and partners to use the best of Instacart advertising — our technology, expertise, and brand partnership reach — to monetize their own e-commerce properties. Carrot Ads is one of the fastest-growing parts of Instacart's Ads business and is central to Instacart's strategy for expanding its advertising ecosystem beyond its own properties.
We are looking for a Senior Product Manager to own and drive the Carrot Ads platform. This is a high-impact, high-visibility role that sits at the intersection of complex technical infrastructure, external partner relationships, and strategic business growth. You'll serve as the primary product point of contact for Carrot Ads' largest and most complex API-integrated partners, own the publisher-facing infrastructure that underpins how all Carrot Ads partners operate on Instacart's ads stack, and help drive the strategic direction of the program over tie.
This role offers the rare opportunity to shape a product that matters both internally — as a critical driver of Instacart's overall Ads business — and externally, by powering retail media network (RMN) programs for high-profile retailers. You'll work across nearly every engineering team in the Ads R&D org, collaborate deeply with cross-functional partners across strategy, marketing, and commercial enablement, and interface directly with external partners. This is a fast-moving space where each team member has a genuine opportunity to shape the product, and where demonstrated mastery over time translates into increasing strategic ownership and leadership of the Carrot Ads program overall.
