General Assembly is a Flexible Hybrid employer, and the arrangement depends on the role. Current corporate and curriculum roles such as Senior Account Director and Sr. Learning Experience Designer are posted as U.S. Remote. Singapore instructor roles are hybrid and require instructors to live in Singapore: full-time classes currently run on campus Monday through Thursday, with Fridays remote. Some roles, such as the Singapore Marketing Intern, are explicitly not remote.
Some do. The Senior Account Director and Senior Account Executive postings describe the roles as mostly remote but require about 25% travel to attend events. The Sr. Learning Experience Designer postings ask for willingness to flex your schedule to join meetings across time zones, particularly the United States, Europe, the Middle East and Asia.
Yes, for US postings. Examples include $120,000 to $130,000 for a Senior Account Director and $75,000 to $80,000 for a Sr. Learning Experience Designer, both for the US market. US full-time postings also include a variable compensation plan, which could be a bonus or a commission.
US full-time postings say benefits may include medical, dental, vision, term life insurance, short-term and long-term disability, commuter benefits, wellness plans and reimbursement, and retirement programs, plus paid time off, parental leave and holiday pay. Temporary US staff may be eligible for dental and vision coverage. A Singapore sales posting lists health insurance, a phone allowance, a learning stipend and GA course credits.
Yes. The careers page promotes mentorship, career development and free GA classes for staff, and a Singapore posting notes that employees can take GA's AI programs for free through course credits.
