Actual compensation for the position is based on a variety of factors, including, but not limited to affordability, skills, qualifications and experience, and may vary from the range. In addition to base salary, employees may also be eligible for annual performance-based incentive compensation awards and equity, among other company benefits.

The company hires across the United States, Canada, and Latin America, with recent roles based in Brazil and Argentina. It also maintains office and hiring presence internationally, including Prague, Romania, London, and Uruguay across Europe, plus India and Taiwan.
Most open roles are fully remote, though a portion are hybrid. Hybrid roles tend to be tied to the New York City and Austin, Texas offices and are typically listed as a few days at home, while many roles outside those hubs are open as fully remote.

The company describes the work as high speed, low drag and is built for people who want to move fast on cybersecurity problems. Teams span supply-chain cyber risk, threat intelligence, security and risk operations, and cyber insurance, so it fits candidates drawn to security ratings and risk management specifically.
Engineering works across languages including Python, Go, Node.js, Ruby on Rails, and Scala, with React on the front end and data stores such as PostgreSQL, Redis, Apache Spark, and ClickHouse. The ratings and analytics side leans on machine-learning tooling like PyTorch, XGBoost, scikit-learn, and Databricks, deployed on Docker, Kubernetes, and Terraform.
