Dune's mission is to make onchain finance observable. We're the industry standard for onchain data: a blockchain data and intelligence provider that institutions, protocols, and analysts trust to understand the onchain world and the frontiers of finance. We deliver structured datasets, spanning stablecoins, RWAs, tokens, lending, trading, and more, from 130+ chains and counting, to 1,000+ industry leaders including Visa, WisdomTree, FINRA, the IMF, Bloomberg, Standard Chartered, Coinbase, Forbes, and the Financial Times.
We're a tight knit team of ~50 hard working people, spread across Europe and eastern US timezones 🌍️, having an outsized impact on the industry. We take pride in being ambitious and doing world class work while staying humble and lighthearted. We believe in building open, verifiable data that lets individuals and institutions do deep research into ecosystems like Ethereum, Solana, Robinhood and many more.
We're backed by some of the world's best investors. In February 2022, we announced our Series B funding round led by Coatue and Union Square Ventures, an important milestone that let us double down on our mission.
If you like being challenged and want to work together with a brilliant team on an important mission, come join us.

Values and working at Dune
Dune’s mission is to make onchain finance observable. Since 2018, we have made blockchain data accessible and useful. Our next opportunity is to build products that financial institutions depend on to commit capital, assess risk, and enter new onchain markets.
As these institutions expand their activity on blockchains, they will need reliable, trustworthy and timely data to power decision making across more markets than ever before. They will need to compare opportunities, monitor changes, and integrate data into their existing systems. For Dune these recurring needs will become a substantial and core part of our business.
We are looking for a Head of Product to help transition Dune into this new era. We will build on top of Dune’s existing data foundation, which already powers thousands of companies. You will decide which customers and use cases to serve first, which problems matter most, and which needs can become scalable products for institutional usage.
You will identify valuable customer problems and guide the company to deliver a reliable product and grow its usage.
You care about markets and have a background in either traditional or onchain markets. You navigate fluently financial jargon and know how market participants use and leverage data.
You can set a clear direction, make difficult choices, and work hard through the details required to deliver. The job’s not finished with a PRD, a hire or a ticket. The job’s finished when the product is creating value in the hands of our customers, being recursively improved by tight knit relationships.
You will work closely with Dune’s engineering, data, and commercial teams while being an integral part of the leadership team. You will report to the president. Your responsibility extends from understanding a customer’s problem to delivering a product that solves it, while navigating the requirements from a large customer base.
You should be equally comfortable discussing an institution’s data requirements and deciding what the team must deliver this week.

Dune is Fully Remote, but not location-agnostic. Its job postings state: "You must be based in the US (ET) or Europe; other regions will not be considered." Roles are advertised with locations such as Europe, USA East Coast, and Europe and US based, and one Account Executive opening is scoped tighter still, with the posting saying you must be based in New York. Dune does not publish a list of countries it hires in.
No. Dune publishes a compensation philosophy instead of numbers. The careers page says that "using market-leading data and calibrating the team to market yearly, we ensure we stay competitive (75th percentile)," and describes both salary and equity as being in the top 25% of the industry. No pay bands appear on any of its job postings, and the detailed compensation framework sits in an internal workspace that candidates cannot read before applying.
Dune calls out the terms rather than the size. Its careers page says the scheme has "a heavily discounted strike price & a 10-year exercise window," and a job posting puts the discount at roughly 90%. There is also an annual top-up: the company says exceptional impact can earn additional equity beyond the initial grant, "with the chance to double your total award over four years."
The careers page lists 25 paid days off per year excluding national holidays, plus flexible public holidays you can move to any day. Job postings describe the same thing as 5 weeks PTO with local public holidays that can be swapped to suit you. Parental, foster, and adoptive leave is 16 weeks at full pay for primary caregivers and 6 weeks for secondary caregivers, usable across the child's first year, followed by a 2-week part-time phased return.
Yes, on a quarterly rhythm. The careers page says the company gets together every quarter in a different location, as a company or as a team, and job postings name where those have happened so far: Tuscany, Berlin, Austria, and Athens.
There is an allowance for your at-home setup, and if you would rather work from a local co-working space, Dune says it will pay for your desk.
