As Fastly’s People Systems Architect, you will serve as the internal Workday functional SME, partnering with the People team to strategize and execute plans for configuring and extending Workday functionality to support digital transformation and drive new capabilities and data insights. You will be responsible for the successful implementation of new functionality and/or processes within project timelines, as well as the optimization and fine-tuning of existing functionality and processes. You will be relied upon for your deep Workday knowledge to help gather and translate
requirements and to design, configure, test and deploy new modules, or improve existing functionality and modules, to support efficiency at scale. This role demands deep knowledge of Workday, functional HR and business process knowledge, experience with enterprise-wide technology implementations, and an ability to drive successful cross-functional collaboration and communication. This is an ideal role for someone who gets inspired by translating requirements into tactical execution, is passionate about thoughtful design and process optimization, and enjoys collaborating with and teaching others.

Fastly currently embraces a largely hybrid model for most roles which allows employees flexibility to split their time between the office and home.
There is a strong preference for Hybrid near a local office. However, we may be willing to consider remote candidates within the US.

The estimated salary range for this position is $154,040 to $217,464.
Starting salary may vary based on permissible, non-discriminatory factors such as experience, skills, qualifications, and location.
This role may be eligible to participate in Fastly’s equity and discretionary bonus programs.
