Most staff roles are open to remote candidates across the UK and US, and the offices in London, Manchester, and New York are optional drop-in spaces rather than required locations. A small number of sales and customer success positions are advertised as hybrid out of London or San Francisco, so it is worth checking the specific role you are interested in.
No. Alongside its salaried staff jobs, Prolific runs a large network of paid AI trainer and study participant opportunities that appear on the same careers board but are contract and participant work rather than full-time employment. If you are looking for a staff role, focus on teams like Engineering, Data and AI, Product, or Human Data.
Prolific uses a location-based pay model, so salary bands are calibrated to the region a role is hired in rather than a single global rate. The bands are shared openly as part of the hiring process instead of being negotiated from scratch.
Prolific suits people who want to work remotely with a high degree of flexibility and who are drawn to the human data infrastructure behind AI research and academic studies. Because roles range from engineering and data science to product and participant operations, it fits both technical builders and operations-minded people.
