As a colleague (in a team of 8 seniors, each with 15-20+ years of experience) your work will be around reducing toil and building and supporting the automation and processes that enable us to reach 200 million users.
We have hundreds of builds running every day for over 1000 GitHub repositories (many open source) with languages like C++, Rust, Go, Python, JavaScript, Ruby, Kotlin, Bash/Shell, HCL and many more.
We ship fast and on multiple desktop and mobile platforms, architectures and distribution channels. Multiple CI systems and acceleration/optimization techniques are used to build the right thing and the thing right.
Our processes are light and we have no mandatory weekly meetings, 0 on-call, no need to be in an office (unless you really want to) and no strict core hours. Work is autonomous (collaborative at times), asynchronous, flexible.

Yes. Brave hires across multiple countries, but eligibility depends on the role. Job descriptions may specify a country or region even when the location label says Anywhere. Check the description for location restrictions and time-zone preferences before applying.
Remote work is the default for most roles at Brave, with exceptions that include hybrid research work and in-person workplace operations. Attendance expectations are specified by role, so a remote-first company label does not mean every position is fully remote.
Brave’s engineering postings emphasize asynchronous communication and minimal meetings. Its browser infrastructure team describes autonomous work without strict core hours or mandatory weekly meetings. Those specific commitments apply to that team; check the expectations for the team you would join.

Brave publishes salary ranges in some job descriptions. Disclosure varies by role and location, so use the range in the position you are considering rather than assuming one company-wide pay band.
