Senior Product Manager - Special Projects
Tremendous is the global platform built for businesses to send thousands of payouts to anyone, anywhere, for free. We're trusted by 20,000 organizations like Atlassian, MIT, and United Way to deliver gift cards and money to millions of recipients worldwide.
Our customers (researchers, marketers, HR teams, nonprofits, and platform businesses) rave about how fast and easy Tremendous is to use. Check out our ratings on G2.
Tremendous is profitable and growing without outside investors. We’re a fully remote, high-documentation, low-meeting culture, which means more time for what matters in both your professional and personal life. The team agrees– our employee NPS is in the high 80s.
Most PMs at Tremendous run a squad. This role owns problems instead.
We're growing fast and spinning up new product areas. Each one needs research, a roadmap, and shovel-ready specs before we staff it. That's your job. You'll dig into areas where we might launch a squad, and run projects too small to need one.
You'll carry one or two projects at a time, drawn from the company's highest-priority open questions. When a problem proves worth solving, what happens next depends on how big the opportunity is.
If it justifies a long-term team, you'll likely build that squad and lead it as its PM. If it's worth building but smaller, you'll build it yourself with an engineer or two and design help from a related squad. If it's small and close to an existing squad's work, you'll hand it off with a finished brief, and that squad's PM will carry it forward. You'll have real influence over new project areas and which teams exist a year from now.
Today, the product management org is 7 PMs, led by a co-founder who serves as Head of Product.
Work async. Most product work here happens in writing. If you're used to running product through meetings, this will feel different.
Founder, founding PM, or first-product-hire experience is a strong plus.

Every open role is fully remote and hiring is open across the Americas. The team keeps core collaboration hours from 12 to 3 PM Eastern, and it gets together for semi-annual company offsites and in-person team meetings.
Pay is set in USD bands that vary by location, so the same title carries a lower band in Brazil than in the US, and every level includes a substantial equity package. Tremendous says it pays top of market and pays international employees far closer to US rates than to local-market rates.
Unlimited PTO, 12 to 16 weeks of paid parental leave for all parents, and fully covered health, dental, and vision for US employees. There is also an unlimited learning budget and a home office budget.
Work is async-first, and decisions tend to get written down rather than hashed out live, so the calendar stays light and the documentation bar stays high. In the company's own words: if you prefer briefs to meetings, speed over certainty, and transparency to silos, you'll be right at home.
No. Tremendous is self-funded and profitable, so it answers to its customers rather than to investors and grows on its own timeline. It has scaled past 150 employees across three continents without raising outside capital since buying out its early backers.
