Tremendous bought out its original investors in 2013 and has been owned by its founders and employees ever since. That means no board decks and no fundraising cycles, and because the company is profitable, it can move fast and make decisions on its own terms.

The team is fully remote and runs on heavy documentation and very few meetings, so the day is built around deep work rather than back-to-back calls. Three stated principles shape how people operate: autonomy, intentionality, and rationality.
