Olo is Remote-First, and every listing is restricted to a specific country; none is open worldwide. Roles are posted for Belfast and Northern Ireland, the United Kingdom more broadly, Lithuania, and the United States. Northern Ireland postings say the role is fully remote with flexibility to work from anywhere within NI, UK postings say anywhere within the UK, and US postings say you can work remotely from anywhere in the U.S. or from Olo's headquarters in New York City.
Olo's careers page describes a generous 30+ days of time off, made up of 20 days PTO, 4 quarterly mental health days, bimonthly half-day summer Fridays, volunteer time off, and a company holiday break. Ten dedicated sick days sit on top of that figure. US job postings add that the holiday break is 11 holidays plus a year-end closure. Parental leave is a 12 week plan.
Only for US roles. Both US postings carry an explicit annual range in the description body, for example $161,000 to $220,000 for a Staff Security Engineer, while the UK and Northern Ireland postings carry no figure at all. That pattern is consistent with US pay-transparency law compliance rather than a company-wide disclosure policy, and Olo publishes no global pay bands or public level ladder.

Belfast is the largest single location among Olo's current openings, and those roles are fully remote within Northern Ireland.
Olo's current openings are concentrated entirely in engineering: development, engineering leadership, and security. There are no sales, support, marketing, or general and administrative roles posted. On-call participation is a stated requirement on the Belfast engineering postings and on the US security role.
Yes, through a program called Olo for Good. Each team member gets eight paid hours a year to volunteer at an eligible nonprofit, and Olo matches employee donations up to $500 per person per year. The company has joined Pledge 1%, committing 1% of its time, products, and equity, and says the grant cycle has awarded more than $9 million to nonprofits since the program launched in 2021.
