Every employee gets paid on time because someone got the details right. Payroll is where people, money and compliance meet, and this apprenticeship is your way in. As a Payroll Apprentice on HighLevel’s India Payroll team, you will see how payroll really runs inside a fast-growing, global, remote-first company: the payroll inbox, ticket tracking, documentation, data entry and Excel-based reporting, all under the guidance and supervision of the Payroll Manager and team.
This is a learning and support role. You will receive ongoing guidance, training, and supervision while building practical skills in payroll operations, data management, reporting, and using AI tools to make administrative work faster and smarter. The focus is on learning and administrative support rather than independent ownership of payroll activities. No prior payroll experience is required; curiosity and an eye for detail are enough to start.
All assigned activities are reviewed and supported by the Payroll Manager or designated team members.
You will learn on the job with a supervisor and a team behind you, and every task you take on is reviewed and supported.
By the end of the programme you will have:
Payroll experience opens doors to roles that people commonly grow into, such as Payroll Executive or Analyst, Payroll Specialist, Compliance Analyst, HRIS or People Systems Analyst, Compensation and Benefits (Total Rewards) Analyst, and People Analytics or Finance Operations roles. These are illustrative career paths, not commitments.
This is a time-bound apprenticeship under the Apprentices Act, 1961, and completing it carries no obligation of employment with the company.
HighLevel India Apprenticeship Policy:

Most HighLevel roles are remote, and working from its Dallas or Tampa hubs is an option rather than a requirement. The exception is some Dallas-linked roles, which are posted as hybrid or expect frequent in-office time in Dallas. Check the location notes on the specific posting.
HighLevel's culture page talks about working from anywhere, but its job postings are tied to a specific country rather than open worldwide. Check the country named on the posting before applying.
The careers page lists employer-paid health and vision insurance, short-term disability coverage, a company-matched 401k, and a generous PTO policy that includes paid family leave and holidays. The Life at HighLevel page adds mental health support, educational stipends, mentorship and leadership programs. HighLevel notes that benefits vary by location, and the published list includes US-specific items such as the 401k.
For US roles, generally yes. Most of HighLevel's US job postings state an annual base salary range. Postings for roles based outside the US typically do not include one.
It depends on the role. HighLevel's postings, especially in design, often describe collaborating across US and India time zones. Some India-based roles set fixed shifts that overlap US business hours. Check the posting for any stated working hours.
