Senior Growth Manager (Contract)

Working as a Senior Growth Manager supporting Reddit’s International Community team, you will develop and execute initiatives that strengthen Reddit’s user and community ecosystems in the US and across international markets.

This position is open to candidates based in the UK or the US - East Coast.

This is not a marketing role. You will identify high-impact growth opportunities, design and execute experiments, and develop successful interventions into repeatable models that can be applied across markets. Your work may include building and scaling communities, increasing the supply of relevant content and contributions, reaching underserved audiences, and strengthening Reddit’s user experience.

The role combines growth strategy, hands-on experimentation, data analysis, and cross-functional influence. You will work closely with Product, Data Science, Marketing, and Community teams while maintaining the autonomy and entrepreneurial mindset required to scale successful initiatives to other markets.

Responsibilities

• User & Community Growth Strategies: Establish and execute comprehensive strategies to grow the user base and nurture communities. 
• Growth Experimentation: Design and execute growth experiments aimed at addressing gaps in content supply, community density, contribution, discovery, engagement, and user growth. Apply a creative, entrepreneurial approach by testing ideas quickly, learning from results, and iterating accordingly.
• Scaling and Repeatability: Translate successful experiments into repeatable playbooks, processes, and recommendations that can be applied across markets. Determine which elements can scale broadly, which require local adaptation, and what operational or product support is needed to unlock broader impact.
• Data & Performance Analytics: Monitor key growth and ecosystem indicators, including DAU, contribution, content supply, community health, and retention. Analyze performance trends, identify risks and opportunities, and establish clear measurement frameworks for experiments and scaled programs.
• Cross-functional Collaboration: Partner with various internal teams to provide insights, shape priorities, and scale growth initiatives. Build compelling evidence through experimentation to influence cross-functional investment and product development.

Required Qualifications

• • Bachelor’s degree or equivalent practical experience.
  • 7+ years of experience in user growth, product operations, or market expansion, with a demonstrated track record of executing growth initiatives at scale.
  • Strong entrepreneurial instincts, hands-on execution skills, and the ability to make progress independently in ambiguous or resource-constrained environments.
  • Data-driven and analytical mindset, with proficiency in Excel modeling, working knowledge of SQL, and experience creating scalable processes and automations.
  • Strong systems thinking, with the ability to distinguish between market-specific problems and growth opportunities that can be addressed through repeatable approaches.
  • Exceptional communication and stakeholder-management skills, with the ability to collaborate effectively and align cross-functional stakeholders across global teams.
  • Results-oriented mindset, strong attention to detail, and a bias toward execution.
  • Comfort balancing a portfolio of opportunities across the US and international markets and prioritizing based on potential impact, feasibility, and strategic relevance.
