About us:
We are Publitas! We’re a remote-first, fast-growing SaaS company helping brands turn static content into digital discovery experiences that drive results.
We’re not about busywork, hierarchy, or hand-holding. We hire sharp minds, trust them fully, and measure success by real results, not noise. If you thrive in autonomy, challenge, and high ownership, you’ll love it here.
As a Senior Internal IT Engineer at Publitas, you’ll build and scale the internal technology foundation that enables our distributed teams to work securely, efficiently, and without friction.
You’ll combine hands-on technical expertise with operational ownership and process thinking to improve the reliability and maturity of our internal IT environment.
You will:
Contribute to company-wide operational readiness initiatives, including audits, compliance efforts, and business continuity improvements.
The ability to balance hands-on execution with longer-term operational improvements.
At Publitas, we see AI as a core lever for performance, efficiency, and innovation. We expect all team members to actively use AI in their daily work to improve quality, speed, and output.
Depending on the role, this ranges from effectively using AI tools in day-to-day workflows to designing and scaling AI-driven systems. We are not looking for candidates who are “AI-curious”; we look for people who already use AI to do better work and can demonstrate tangible impact.

Individual openings can set their own country, region, language, and time-zone requirements. Publitas expects candidates to already have the legal right to work in their country of residence, so applicants should check each role's eligibility before applying.
Not necessarily. Publitas says the contract arrangement depends on the work, the location, and the approvals required: options may include Dutch payroll employment, an independent contractor agreement, or, exceptionally, an Employer of Record arrangement, and its People team confirms what is feasible before an offer is made. Publitas also says independent contractors do not receive employment benefits, so candidates should confirm which arrangement applies to their role and which parts of the package come with it.
The process moves from application and screening through recruiter and hiring-manager conversations, an asynchronous work sample, a meet-the-team stage, reference checks, and an offer. Publitas may record interviews for internal sharing and note-taking, but candidates can decline recording, request deletion afterward, or ask for a copy.
Publitas says pay depends on the role and its responsibilities, the role's market value, the candidate's experience and skills, and cost-of-living and rent indices for their location. Some roles also include variable compensation.
Publitas says it looks for a “Cultural Add” rather than a conventional culture fit: someone who can work within the existing culture while pointing out improvements and potential pitfalls. Strong written and verbal English matters for remote collaboration, and previous remote-work experience is an advantage rather than a requirement.
