The Product team is at the forefront of Brex's mission to empower employees anywhere to make better financial decisions. With a deep understanding of the business, we identify and scope out the most impactful opportunities for Brex to tackle. We set strategy and drive products from inception to launch, enabling Brex to grow rapidly and help our customers reach their full potential.
Companies buy Brex to run their spend, and the person on the hook for that is the finance admin — a controller, an accounting manager, a finance ops lead. Their job comes down to two things they can never quite get ahead of: making sure money is being spent compliantly and documented in time to close the books, and knowing where the company's money is actually going.
Today they do both by hand, at a scale that doesn't work. Roughly 4% of travel and entertainment spend is out of policy — for a company spending $10M a year, that's $400K in violations, duplicates, missing receipts, and overspend. Most companies never find it, because finding it means a human reading transactions one at a time. The ones who do find it either staff a review team or bolt on a separate audit product with its own login. On the other side, the questions that actually matter — where did spend grow this quarter, which team is drifting, what's driving the number — sit behind a queue for an analyst, or a spreadsheet the admin builds themselves at month-end. Nobody is continuously watching.
The AI team is working to give every finance admin two people they can't hire today: an auditor and a business analyst
Together they add up to a single answer for the customer: am I in control of my company's money?
As a PM on Finance Admin AI, you'd take point on one of them with real, end-to-end ownership — which one, and how much of the other you pick up, is something we'll shape around where you're strongest and what the team needs when you start.
Both are early and real — in customers' hands, with the gaps that implies. And no one has a finished playbook for this: what makes an agent's judgment about a policy trustworthy enough to act on, how you evaluate an answer that has no single correct value, how you keep quality moving up as the models shift underneath you. You'll invent much of that, with the ownership and pace of a startup and the backing of an established company behind you.
You'll work on our core AI team building agents for the finance admin and own one of these end to end. You'll set its product direction, decide which capabilities to build and how they should behave, and spend real time with controllers and finance teams to learn what they'll actually trust an agent to do on their behalf. From there you go as deep as it takes to make it real: shaping agent behavior, writing and iterating prompts, designing the evals that prove it works, and digging into traces when it doesn't. You'll partner closely with engineering, design, and research, and you'll set the quality bar for agents that customers rely on to keep their spend clean and their numbers right.

Generally no. Brex is a Structured Hybrid company, and remote time comes as a perk of up to four weeks a year; at least one posting says those weeks are taken in increments of at least one week. Fully remote roles are rare exceptions and still tied to an office city: one recent Vancouver-based role was fully remote but required some in-person training at the Vancouver office. Postings do not say whether remote weeks can be worked from another country.
Nearly every posting names a Brex office, with roles across San Francisco, New York, Seattle, Salt Lake City, Vancouver and São Paulo, and the standard hybrid clause asks for three office days a week. Brex often posts the same opening once per city, so a single role can appear several times with different locations.
The careers page groups benefits into a few areas. Wellbeing: medical, dental and vision coverage, Spring Health and Calm, generous vacation and a year-end company shutdown. Life moments: generous parental leave, Carrot Fertility benefits and Milk Stork for nursing parents. In-person connection: in-office lunches, offsites and commuter benefits. Depending on the position, equity may be part of the total compensation package. The careers page does not publish day counts for vacation, the shutdown or parental leave.
Yes. Brex postings publish pay ranges, annual for salaried roles and hourly for some hourly roles. Starting pay within a range depends on location, skills, experience, market demands and internal pay parity. Sales postings list on-target earnings that combine base salary with commissions, which may or may not be earned depending on performance.
Brex lists six values: Dream Big, Ownership, Impatient Optimism, One Brex, Customer Obsession and Growth Mindset. The company describes "be the founder of your career" as its culture, and the People team's stated charter is to attract the best talent, help employees grow and then launch them into whatever comes next. More than 100 Brex alumni have gone on to start their own companies, so it suits people who want ownership now and may want to found something later.
Brex hires directly through its own careers site and applicant system. Brex LLC is a wholly owned subsidiary of Capital One, N.A., and Brex's team in Brazil is employed through a local Brex entity that publishes its own pay-transparency report.
