About the Role
As a Software Engineer II on the Auth & Access team, you will contribute to building, scaling, and maintaining the core authentication and identity services that power the JumpCloud platform. You will work closely with a globally distributed engineering team to deliver reliable features across our Go, Python, and Node.js backend stacks.
This role focuses heavily on implementing modern, secure web authentication protocols, integrating seamless identity workflows, and aggressively leveraging AI-assisted development tools (like GitHub Copilot and Cursor) to write high-quality code and accelerate feature velocity.
Health insurance is available in all of JumpCloud's entity countries. In the US it starts on day one and includes a choice of medical plans; coverage elsewhere is arranged through Deel and varies by country.

Are any JumpCloud roles not fully remote?
Almost all are remote, but there is a documented exception. The Account Manager, North America - India posting based in Bangalore specifies "Hybrid working - 3 days in WeWork offices and 2 days fully remote." That posting places the in-office days in WeWork coworking space.
Do JumpCloud roles come with set working hours?
Some do. Two India-based roles covering North America, Account Manager and Customer Success Manager, state that "This opportunity requires that you work a specific shift as this is a region specific role."
