We’re seeking an experienced AI Systems and Performance Researcher/Engineer to shape and improve our performance evaluations and optimizations across desktop and mobile. Yes. Brave hires across multiple countries, but eligibility depends on the role. Job descriptions may specify a country or region even when the location label says Anywhere. Check the description for location restrictions and time-zone preferences before applying.
Remote work is the default for most roles at Brave, with exceptions that include hybrid research work and in-person workplace operations. Attendance expectations are specified by role, so a remote-first company label does not mean every position is fully remote.
Brave’s engineering postings emphasize asynchronous communication and minimal meetings. Its browser infrastructure team describes autonomous work without strict core hours or mandatory weekly meetings. Those specific commitments apply to that team; check the expectations for the team you would join.
