________
We are seeking an exceptional Principal Product Manager to build the HTS API Marketplace — the commercial and developer-facing layer through which enterprise partners access Hopper's lodging and cars capabilities.
This is a true 0-to-1 role. You will be the person who defines what it is: how capabilities are packaged and priced, how partners discover and integrate them, and how the marketplace evolves as a platform business. The underlying technical capabilities — connectivity orchestration, pricing and sort, content mapping, the extranet — are owned by dedicated capability teams. Your job is to work closely with those PMs to understand, package, and commercially expose those capabilities as coherent, enterprise-grade API products.
We expect this PM to move fast and build scrappily. You should be comfortable using AI tools and vibe coding to prototype workflows, mock APIs, and test partner experiences before handing off to engineering. The best candidate will reach for a prototype before a PRD.
You will partner with Engineering, Data Science, Commercial, Finance, and Supply — and coordinate tightly with other PMs across the organization — to bring the marketplace from concept to a revenue-generating platform.
This is a fully remote role.
This position requires proficiency in both French and English. The successful candidate will be required to communicate and collaborate on a regular basis with colleagues, managers, clients, suppliers, and business partners located outside Quebec, and to review, prepare, and use documentation, systems, and communications in both French and English. Knowledge of English is therefore necessary for the performance of the duties associated with the position and to meet operational and client requirements in an international business environment.

Hopper advertises remote roles for specific countries or metro areas, and the same role may have separate listings for different locations. Check the location on the particular job posting before applying; fully remote does not by itself establish worldwide eligibility.
Hopper’s interview guide outlines an introductory call, competency screening, an interview loop of three to five interviewers, and a final Bar Raiser interview. It says candidates are assessed for what they can build for customers, with less weight on experience and degrees.
Some Hopper job postings include salary bands tied to the listed location. Postings for the same role in different locations may show different ranges, so check the listing where you would work. Some job postings also advertise pre-IPO equity; ask about grant terms during the offer process.
Hopper job postings describe unlimited PTO, a Carrot Cash travel stipend, a work-from-home stipend, and on-demand coworking access. Benefits vary by location: US listings include employer-paid medical, dental and vision premiums and 401(k) access; Canadian listings include employer-paid group insurance, a health spending account and RRSP access. US roles also list a Health Reimbursement Account. Check the posting for the role’s location for applicable terms.
Hopper’s culture guide names weekly revenue and customer-servicing meetings, quarterly roadmap approvals, and periodic product and design reviews. It asks teams to seek alignment, not coordination.
