Join the Sleep Fitness Movement
At Eight Sleep, we're on a mission to fuel human potential through optimal sleep. As the world's first sleep fitness company, we're redefining what it means to be well-rested and building the most advanced hardware, software, and AI technology to make it possible. Our products power peak mental, physical, and emotional performance by transforming every night of sleep into a personalized, data-driven recovery experience.
Every role at Eight Sleep is a chance to create cutting-edge technology, collaborate with world-class talent, and help shape a future where sleep isn't passive, it's a powerful tool for living better. If you're tired of the ordinary and driven to build at the edge of what's possible, this is your moment.
High Standards. No Apologies.
We operate with intensity because our mission demands it. At Eight Sleep, we bring the same mindset as the world's top performers: focused, relentless, and always pushing to be in the top 1% of our craft. This isn't a 9-to-5. Our team is deeply committed, often putting in the extra effort, not because we're told to, but because we're invested in building something category-defining.
We're hiring a Growth Engineer to help us move fast on eightsleep.com. You'll work closely with the growth, marketing, and design teams to ship landing pages, run a high volume of A/B tests, and keep our analytics and conversion funnels sharp on a high-traffic storefront serving customers around the world.
This is a hands-on, high-velocity role. If you like turning ideas into shipped, measurable experiments, and seeing your work go live within days, you'll feel at home here.
Config-driven and fast. A lot of our growth surface is defined declaratively, so a well-scoped change goes from idea to production in a day, not a sprint. We're experiment-led, we'd rather ship a test and learn than debate. You'll have real ownership over what you build and a direct line to the impact it has.
Join us in a workplace where innovation isn’t just encouraged - it’s a standard. Our flagship product, the Pod, is a testament to our culture of excellence, beloved by hundreds of thousands of customers worldwide. At Eight Sleep, you will be part of a team that continuously pushes the boundaries of technology in sleep fitness.
From your first day, you’ll take on substantial responsibilities that have a direct impact on our core business and product success. We are a small team that empowers you to own your projects and see the tangible effects of your efforts, enhancing both your professional growth and our company’s trajectory. Your path will be challenging but rewarding, perfect for those who thrive in fast-paced environments aiming for high standards.
Work alongside other bright minds like you: at Eight Sleep exceptional intelligence and a passion for breakthroughs are the norms. Our team members are not only experts in their fields but also avid innovators who thrive in our dynamic, fast-paced environment.
We extend equity participation to every full-time team member, recognizing and rewarding your direct contributions to our success. Most roles are office-based, and each posting sets its own terms. A San Francisco hardware prototyping role requires being on site five days a week. Three Milan engineering roles (backend, iOS and Android) are hybrid, with Remote - EU as a secondary location, while other Milan roles are on site. A small number of roles, such as a Senior Backend Engineer opening, are posted as remote, and that posting says it is open to applicants in the US and Canada. Read the location line on each role rather than assuming a company-wide rule.
The company's interview guide says everyone who joins completes a take-home assignment. Many teams use written memos to prepare for meetings, so your panel may involve teammates reviewing your take-home asynchronously, leaving comments and questions on it, and then discussing it with you live.
The careers page and job postings list equity with periodic refreshes, flexible PTO, paid parental leave, health, vision and dental insurance for employees and their dependents, supplemental life insurance, commuter benefits, and a Pod of your own. Offices have pet-friendly policies and weekly fitness classes, and San Francisco hardware postings include lunch in the office five days a week. The careers page notes that benefits may vary by location.
Many US postings publish a pay range. For example, the Senior Backend Engineer posting lists 180,000 to 210,000 USD plus equity, and the Senior Software Engineer roles for Android and iOS list 200,000 to 235,000 USD plus equity. The Milan postings do not publish compensation.
People who want early responsibility and are comfortable putting in extra effort. The careers page says "People in their 20s lead products worth millions of dollars here" and describes a team that has come from companies such as Tesla, Apple, Google and McKinsey.
