Hi, my name is Michael, Head of Data and Analytics at Customer.io, and I’m looking for a Senior Manager, Data Science & Analytics to lead and evolve Customer.io's internal data science & analytics function. This team serves as a strategic partner across Product, Marketing, Sales and Customer Experience organizations, helping the company make better decisions through forecasting, experimentation, behavioral analytics, and rigorous measurement.
In this role, you'll lead a team responsible for delivering business value through the applied use of data. You'll partner closely with leaders across the company to guide decisions, define success metrics, improve customer and product experiences, and drive operational efficiencies.
Success in this role requires strong leadership, analytical and technical rigor, and business acumen. We view our data team as more than a reporting function, and as a trusted advisor to the business - bringing clarity through ambiguity, uncovering opportunities, and helping Customer.io move faster and operate smarter as we scale.

We believe in transparency. Starting salary for this role is $170,000 - $200,000 USD depending on experience and subject to market rate adjustment.

Its Senior Software Engineer roles, for instance, list an identical $150,000 to $200,000 range for both Americas and EMEA candidates, and salary ranges are published directly on each job posting.
Customer.io is fully remote and hires across broad regions, with roles posted as Americas Remote or EMEA Remote. The team is distributed across 30 or more countries, so eligibility is set per role by region rather than tied to any office.
