Huntress is looking for a highly strategic and collaborative Staff Software Engineer to drive the technical vision and architectural evolution of the Huntress Core Platform.
Our Core Platform contains the foundational components that power the entire Huntress product suite, including the notification system, onboarding, authentication, integrations, and APIs. While you will remain deeply hands-on developing the most complex features for the platform, your scope expands beyond standard delivery. You will act as the technical anchor for your team, solving our most complex scaling challenges and eliminating cross-team dependencies. You will design the systems that empower all other engineering teams to build faster and more securely, acting as a technical thought leader who ensures our architecture anticipates future growth as we scale to protect the 99%.

The careers page lists localized benefits for teammates in the United States, the United Kingdom, Ireland, Australia and Canada, so eligibility and benefits depend on the country you are based in. Each job posting names the country the role is hired in, so check the listing for location requirements.
In the US, Huntress contributes 5% to your 401(k) even if you do not contribute yourself, and Canadian teammates get a 5% pension contribution on the same terms. UK and Ireland teammates receive an employer pension contribution, and Australian teammates get superannuation contributions to the fund of their choice. All full-time teammates receive stock options.
US teammates get 12 weeks of paid parental leave, alongside vacation, sick time, bereavement leave and floating holidays, and parental leave is offered in every country where Huntress has teammates. Everyone also receives a monthly digital reimbursement for internet and phone, plus a home office reimbursement for new starters.

Some Security Operations Center and SOC support roles are shift-based or anchored to a specific time zone, including weekend schedules, and some are eligible for on-call pay. Working-hours requirements are stated in each posting, so check the listing before applying.
