We are seeking a highly skilled and analytical Technical Accounting & Financial Reporting Manager to join our dynamic Finance team. Reporting directly to the Senior Manager, Technical Accounting & Financial Reporting, you will play a pivotal role in strengthening our financial framework, shaping accounting operations, and supporting key strategic initiatives as Grafana Labs scales globally.
The ideal candidate brings a deep expertise in U.S. GAAP and SEC reporting, thrives when tackling complex, high-judgment accounting areas, and possesses a proven track record of driving process improvements. If you excel at cross-functional collaboration and navigating fast-paced, high-growth environments, this role offers an exciting platform to make a lasting impact.
In the United States, the base compensation range for this role is $130,000 - $154,000. Actual compensation may vary based on level, experience, and skillset as assessed throughout the interview process. All of our roles include Restricted Stock Units (RSUs), giving every team member ownership in Grafana Labs' success. We believe in shared outcomes; RSUs help us stay aligned and invested as we scale globally.

Grafana Labs is fully remote with employees in more than 40 countries. It runs payroll-backed benefits in specific countries, including health coverage or stipends in the US, UK, Canada, the Netherlands, Sweden, Singapore, Spain, Australia, and India, and employer retirement contributions in most of those plus Germany, so open roles are typically tied to those hiring locations.
Most processes start with a recruiter conversation, followed by hiring manager and leadership interviews, a role-relevant practical challenge such as a coding task or take-home with no trick questions, and final interviews on collaboration and decision-making. Senior and sales roles add a Wayfinder interview with a cross-functional team member to check values alignment.
Everyone gets 30 days of paid vacation per year on top of national holidays, sick leave, and parental leave. The company also observes several company-wide Shutdown Days each year so the whole team disconnects at the same time.
New hires choose their own laptop and accessories, which are refreshed every three years, and the company reimburses up to $175 a month for a personal coworking space. New Grafanistas are also flown in together for in-person onboarding to meet colleagues face to face.
