Resident is seeking an experienced Design Director, PR & Communications to lead the creative direction and visual execution of internal and external communications across the organization. Reporting to the VP of Brand & Creative, this role will serve as a key steward of brand integrity while helping shape how our parent company, Ashley Furniture, communicates to employees, partners, media, leadership, and customers. This role requires a highly strategic and editorial-minded creative leader with exceptional taste, strong communication instincts, and the ability to translate complex ideas into clear, compelling visual storytelling. The ideal candidate brings a balance of creative excellence, organizational leadership, operational rigor, and hands-on execution. You will lead a team responsible for developing communication-driven creative across presentations, executive communications, PR campaigns, social content, events, internal initiatives, and brand storytelling moments — ensuring every touchpoint feels cohesive, elevated, and aligned with Ashley’s evolving brand identity.

We carefully consider a wide range of compensation factors, including your background, skills, qualifications, experience, geographic location and other non-discriminatory factors.
