Senior Project Manager (SaaS / Remote / German)
Publitas turns static, dead PDFs into interactive, shoppable digital content discovery experiences. For our global enterprise clients, transforming their traditional assets requires seamless technical alignment, strategic onboarding, and flawless execution.
Your mission as Senior Project Manager is to take end-to-end ownership of complex enterprise SaaS implementation projects, guiding major brands from initial onboarding to successful expansion. We work 80% asynchronously and judge success entirely by your ability to manage risks, align stakeholders, and deliver measurable customer value, not by the number of hours you sit on Zoom.
We don't measure you by years of experience; we measure you by outcomes. Here is what you will achieve in your first 3 months:
Day 30: You have fully mastered the Publitas product suite, value proposition, and delivery methodologies. You have shadowed active implementation projects and assumed primary contact for your first set of enterprise accounts.
Day 60: You are independently leading scoping sessions, technical workshops, and timeline planning for new enterprise client onboardings. You have successfully mapped out client goals against our technical solutions and unblocked cross-functional delivery risks.
Day 90: You have successfully delivered your first major enterprise implementation project from kickoff to launch. You have established high-trust relationships with key client stakeholders and begun mentoring junior project managers to mature our delivery practices.
High Ownership Delivery: You don't just pass messages between clients and developers; you own the project lifecycle end-to-end. You treat each implementation like your own business, proactively identifying delivery risks, balancing technical trade-offs, and driving projects to completion without needing layers of process or hand-holding.
Collaborative Bridge-Builder: You thrive at the intersection of client management and technical execution. You can confidently lead a workshop with enterprise C-level executives in German, then switch contexts to scope out API integrations, custom development workflows, or analytics setups with our engineering teams.
High Autonomy, Zero Ego: In a remote-first, asynchronous environment, there is nowhere to hide behind "busywork." You are highly organized, comfortable navigating change, and motivated entirely by results. You don't wait for permission; you take the initiative to solve problems and optimize delivery practices.
At Publitas, we see AI as a core lever for performance, efficiency, and innovation. We expect all team members to actively use AI in their daily work to improve quality, speed, and output.
Depending on the role, this ranges from effectively using AI tools in day-to-day workflows to designing and scaling AI-driven systems. We are not looking for candidates who are “AI-curious”; we look for people who already use AI to do better work and can demonstrate tangible impact.

The process is built around real working experience: candidates work through a sample of challenges drawn from the actual position they are applying for and meet their future team members along the way.
Location independence is the default, but individual openings often target specific markets and languages. Recent roles ask for Dutch, German, or Spanish speakers and several are tagged EU, so check the language and region requirements on each listing.
No. Work hours are flexible and the company is explicit that results and impact matter more than hours spent, which is what makes asynchronous, location-independent work possible.
