Tribe AI

Tribe was founded on the belief that every company would need to become an AI company, and today that bet puts it inside some of the world's largest enterprises. Its engine is a network of more than 600 AI engineers that the company describes as functioning like a distributed research lab, a place where specialists plug into meaningful work without giving up flexibility, upside, or the ability to learn. Tribe says it has never done outbound recruiting: the network has grown entirely through referrals and results.

Tribe's careers page is unusually plainspoken about culture. The company calls itself flat and meritocratic, "with no energy lost to politics or posturing," and expects new hires to run on day one rather than ramp up slowly. The pace is part of the pitch too: "A quarter here feels like a year anywhere else."
