Learn more about us on our YouTube Channel or Blog Posts Role Overview As the Staff Product Manager for App Marketplace, you will own the end-to-end product strategy, ecosystem vision, and execution for HighLevel’s App Marketplace. You will be responsible for transforming our marketplace into a thriving economy that connects 3rd-party developers with our 2 million+ businesses. You will partner deeply with Engineering, Design, Partnerships, Developer Relations, and Marketing to build a scalable platform that drives GMV (Gross Merchandise Value), improves Developer Experience (DevEx), and delivers high-value integrations to our customers. You will be accountable for defining the vision, setting the KPIs, and delivering measurable impact on marketplace revenue and adoption.   What You'll Do   Strategy & Ecosystem Growth - Own the Marketplace Vision: Define the long-term strategy to make the HighLevel App Marketplace the premier destination for MarTech and SalesTech apps. - Drive GMV & Revenue: Establish and execute strategies to grow Gross Merchandise Value (GMV) by optimizing monetization models, billing infrastructure, and payout mechanisms for partners. - Define Key Metrics: Define, track, and report on ecosystem health metrics: App installs, Active usage, Developer retention, API utilization, and Net Revenue Retention frommarketplace apps.   Platform & Developer Experience - Revolutionize DevEx: Design and deliver capabilities that make it effortless for developers to build, test, submit, and monetize apps on HighLevel. This includes owning the roadmap for Developer Portals, SDKs, and API documentation standards. - Governance & Quality: Establish rigorous yet efficient app review processes, security standards, and policy frameworks to ensure a high-trust environment for our users. - Discovery & Merchandising: Optimise the end-user experience (Agency & SMB) regarding app discovery, search algorithms, recommendations, and one-click installation flows.   Leadership & Execution - Influence the Roadmap: Collaborate with engineering and cross-functional teams to prioritise platform-level features that unlock new possibilities for app developers (e.g., deeper UI integrations, new webhooks). - Voice of the Partner: Conduct qualitative research with developer partners and agencies to identify friction points and translate insights into prioritised product work-streams. - Mentor & Lead: Mentor other PMs and APMs working on adjacent areas of the developer platform, acting as a thought leader in platform economics and ecosystem best practices.   What We're Looking For (Must-Haves) - 10+ years of product management experience in software/digital products with increasing scope and complexity. - 2-3 years of specific experience building or scaling App Marketplaces in a SaaS environment. - Proven track record of growing GMV: You have successfully managed a marketplace - P&L or driven significant revenue growth through 3rd-party ecosystem monetisation. - Developer Platform Expertise: You have a deep understanding of APIs, webhooks, authentication (OAuth), and the technical nuances of what makes a "great" developer experience. - Strategic Leadership: Proven ability to own product strategy and execution at a senior/IC level (Principal or equivalent), balancing long-term vision with ruthlessly prioritised execution. - Strong Analytical Mindset: You can work with complex data sets (transaction volume, churn, API usage), run experiments, and interpret results to drive ecosystem health.   What We'd Like (Great-to-Have) - Experience specifically in a B2B SaaS platform (CRM, Marketing Automation) with a multi-tenant architecture. - Technical background (CS degree or former developer) to effectively empathize with the developer community. - Experience with global/multi-region marketplace rollouts (handling multi-currency, VAT/Tax compliance for marketplaces).   What You'll Get - Strategic Impact: Opportunity to lead a strategic pillar (Marketplace & Ecosystem) that has top-level business impact and visibility. - Collaborative Environment: You will work with world-class engineering, design, data science, and partnership teams. - Growth Trajectory: Influence our platform’s next phase of growth, scale global operations, and build frameworks that others will follow.   About You - You are an instinctive product leader: You thrive in turning ambiguous, complex ecosystem problems (How do we attract top developers?
